The Lesotho Athletes Commission (LAC), under the auspices of the Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) and with generous support from the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Solidarity Programme, officially launched the Athlete365 Career+ Workshop today at Olympic House in Maseru.
The workshop was officially opened by LNOC Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Mathato MAKHOROLE, who emphasized the importance of supporting athletes not only during their competitive careers but also as they transition into life beyond sport.
Running from 23rd to 24th May 2025, this powerful two-day event brings together 30 athletes from various National Sports Federations across Lesotho. The workshop aims to equip athletes with essential life and career skills—covering topics such as personal development, career planning, and identity beyond sport.
We are honored to be guided by two highly experienced facilitators from the Olympic Movement:
Kady Kanouté TOUNKARA OLY from Mali
Ganzi Semu MUGULA OLY from Uganda
Both are certified by Olympic Solidarity and bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for athlete development.
This initiative is part of the global Athlete365 Career+ Programme, designed to empower athletes to shape meaningful futures both during and after their sporting careers.
