Seven judo athletes (Judokas) from Lesotho have travelled to Johannesburg to take part in a friendly tournament and training sessions with the Judo For Peace SA organisation.

Judo is still a relatively new sport in the country and opportunities like this are essential to develop the sport to a competitive level. Lesotho has traditionally performed well in weight-category sports such as Boxing and Taekwondo and the anticipation is that Judo will also bring success to the nation.

The team includes: Motlatsi SWAI, Tebello MOILOA, Tumelo SEGOETE, Semana MATEBESI, Mamohato MOTHAKA and Mahlape MOQWISHA.
