GENDER EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY COMMISSION EMPOWERS YOUNG FEMALE LEADER

In order to achieve its strategic objective 7.1, “Drive Gender Equality Across the Olympic Movement,” the Gender Equality and Diversity Commission is proud to announce that, the commission has identified a female athlete and sports enthusiast, Ms. Liteboho LETLALA, as a suitable candidate for the World Archery Coaching Course Level certification, which will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland, in October 2023.During her undergraduate days, “China,” as she is generally known in the sporting fraternity, was a former handball player, dancer, and athletics player.
She is now the chairman of the Cycling Federation of Lesotho’s Women in Sport Commission and a key part of a local professional club’s marketing staff. China does not only speak up on women’s concerns, but she also inspires them, she also encourages female athletes and youth girls to follow their dreams by being involved and utilizing her many abilities to demonstrate that any woman can achieve her goals; she is presently a chorister at a national arts school and a leading member of a wellness and fitness club. The 33-year-old Mafeteng District sports superstar attended Masentle High School before graduating with a degree in architecture from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in 2015. She is pursuing the Olympic Advanced Sports Management Diploma.
