Following the elections of the XXIV Elective Conference of the Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC), a formal handing-over ceremony was held today at Olympic House. During the event, Mr. Tlali Rampooana, along with his former executive team, officially transferred the Constitution of the Lesotho National Olympic Committee to the newly elected President, Mr. Letsatsi Ntsibolane, this was done with the precencne of the Director of Sports Mr. Thabo TSIKI from the Ministry of Sports.
This transition of leadership coincides with Mr. Ntsibolane’s recent election as a member of the Association of African National Olympic Academies (AANOA), the governing body responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Olympic Values Education Programme across Africa.

The Lesotho National Olympic Committee Secretariat participated in the Moshoeshoe Walk lead by Her Majesty The Queen, to advance its initiative of Olympic Education. This event exemplifies several themes of the Olympic Movement, particularly the importance of embracing culture. The integration of cultural values within the Olympic Movement underscores the significance of recognizing and honoring our diverse cultural backgrounds.

The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) launched its six-month Sustainability, Social, and Economic Women Empowerment Project at the Lepereng OlympAfrica Centre in December 2024!

This ongoing project has brought together 30 participants—including Commonwealth Games Federation alumni, refugees, and youth— it focuses on building leadership, sustainability knowledge, and socioeconomic empowerment while promoting Olympic values.

The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) successfully concluded the Sports Administration Course Level 1 on Friday, 7th February 2025, at Olympic House.
The closing ceremony was honored by the presence of the Commissioner of Correctional Services, Mr. Mating Nkakala, and LNOC Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Mathato Makhorole, who acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the participants in enhancing their knowledge of sports administration.
A total of 36 participants were awarded certificates for successfully completing the course, a testament to their commitment to developing strong leadership and management skills in sports. This initiative aligns with LNOC’s vision of fostering growth and professionalism within the sporting community.


We are proud to announce the launch of the Level 1 Sport Administration Course for 36 Lesotho Correctional Service officers, led by Deputy Commissioner Operations, Mr. Mosheoane Tsolo. The course was officially opened by LNOC Vice President Finance, Dr. Lebohang Khomari, marking a significant step towards enhancing sports management within the correctional service.

The LNOC Sports Media Seminar 2025 was officially launched today by LNOC Vice President Dr. Lebohang Khomari. The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) has taken a significant step in advancing sports administration by launching the Level II Sports Administration course specifically for officers of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF). This initiative, which commenced today under the leadership of LNOC Secretary General Mr. Morake Raleaka, aims to empower 30 enrolled officers with the skills necessary to enhance sports management within their respective domains.
