The Olympafrica Youth Ambassador Programme ( OYAP) under the auspices of the Lesotho National Olympic Committee conducted the training on COVID-19 Prevention for Adolescent Girls and Young Women ( AGYW) and their Male counterparts. The training was held on Sunday, the 11th and Monday , the 12th October 2020. The training was meant to equip the Peer Educator, On-Site Screeners and Data Collectors with relevant skills that will enable them to implement the awareness and educational campaign effectively. The project has been funded by the Canadian Embassy in South Africa under its Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). The training was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the District Corona- Virus Secretariat (DICOSEC). The projected will last for five months starting from October 2020 and end in February 2021.
