Sports Administration course level 2 and Atthletics coaching course

In its effort to capacitate sport administrators,the Lesotho NOC yesterday kicked off sports Administrators course- level 2 which will run for the duration of the week.

On the other hand the Vice-President Administration today officially opened the Technical Course for Coaches-Athletics Level 1 (Refresher Course). The Course is facilitated by Mr. Thobi MAZIBUKO from Eswatini and Mr. Makhaola SERAKE from Lesotho.

The Lesotho National Olympic Committee through its education unit known as  Lesotho Olympic Academy, Culture and Education Commission will  hold a 05th Young Participants Session 2019. The session is tailored for the young athletes aged 18-35 from different  National Sport Federations. The activity will be held on Monday, the 8th to Friday, the 13th  December 2019 at Mophato oa Morija, Morija. Advanced Sport Management Course

This weekend has been busy for the ASMC class of 2019, completing Module 1: Organising an Olympic Sport Organisation, which was presented by Mr. Zongezile Dlangamandla.

Each candidate has been working furiously on a case study and, over the past two days, were given the opportunity to present their work to their peers and course directors for scrutiny and suggestions.

The presentations were followed by a test of knowledge and understanding of the Module content.

ASMC 2019 is set to run until September and Module 2 (Managing Strategically) will commence next weekend.

Africa zone VI RADO Training of educators Program

The Lesotho national Olympic committee through the Sport Medicine and Protection of Clean Athletes Commission under the Directorship of Dr. Makhetha Mosotho will hold a five day training for the Anti Doping Education Officers. The training that is funded by the Olympic Solidarity will be held at Aloes Guest House Sehlabeng-Sa- Thuoathe in the Berea District from Monday, the 18th February to Friday, the 22nd February 2019. LESOTHO NATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE ADVANCE SPORT MANAGEMENT COURSE (ASMC)

The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) will host the Advanced Sport Management Course (ASMC) for the 2018-2019 period. ASMC objects to equip Sport Administrators with the knowledge and tools to help them bring about positive change in their sport organizations. ASMC is based on Managing Olympic Sport Organizations manual and comprises of six modules, which are; Organizing an Olympic sport Organization, Managing Strategically, Managing Human Resources, Managing Human Resources, Managing Finances, Managing Marketing, and Organizing a Major Sport Event.
