LNOC AFRISKI WINTER SPORTS EXTRAVAGANZA

The LNOC in collaboration with AFRISKI Mountain Resort has organised the first ever Ski Experience dubbed Winter Sports Extravaganza . The activity is held from today the 30th to 31st July 2024. The purpose is to provide children aged between nine (09) and Fifteen (15) with a unique opportunity to participate in winter sports comprising Skiing and Snowboarding which are generally under represented in our region. One hundred (100) Children who participate will not only engage in physical activity but will also learn valuable life qualities such as collaboration, discipline, and resilience.

LAUNCH OF COMMUNITY DIALOGUE AT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LESOTHO ON NON – INCIDENTAL VIOLENCE

As part of the Mathomo Project, the National University of Lesotho (NUL) Department of Student Affairs (DSA) in partnership with the Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) is hosting the Community Leaders Dialogue on Non Incidental Violence scheduled over the next two and a half days of the 24th, 25th, and 26th of July 2024 under the theme of ” Safeguarding the Roma Community from the Non-Incidental Violence” . The dialogue was officially opened by the substantive Pro. Vice Chancellor acting as Vice Chancellor – Professor Kananelo E MOSITO (KC).
The primary focus of the dialogue is the non-incidental violence during NUL student protests, the objective is to engage all stakeholders in discussing and developing strategies to prevent such incidents during future student protests...

XXIII LNOC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2024

Good governance is one of the core pillars and values that the LNOC commits to employ . The XXIII Annual General Assembly was held yesterday in Maseru. The main purpose of the meeting was to present reports for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Additionally, the General Assembly adopted the Constitution amendments. The General Assembly also welcomed new members federations which are Federation of Archery Lesotho and Federation of Teqball Lesotho as full members.
