The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) is proud to announce the successful completion of Day 2 of the Team Lesotho selection process and to officially publish the names of students who have earned their places on Team Lesotho.The team will represent Lesotho in the categories of Debate, Poetry, Public Speaking, Essay Writing and Quiz. The selected participants will proudly represent Lesotho in August 2026, when the country hosts students from six participating nations in a regional competition covering the same categories.

The following individuals have been selected:

Nthati MOHLAKOLA;

Palesa THABANA;

Liteboho MAFISA;

Mantso MOELETSI;

Thapelo MALUMANE;

Mamello MOSEPELE;

Likeleli BINYANE;

Letlotlo MOLENGOANE;

Thandaza SEBAKO; and

Mpho MPHUNYETSANE.

The selected team comprises outstanding learners from the following schools:

Molapo High School;

Leribe English Medium School;

Mohale’s Hoek English Medium School;

Hermitage High School;

Leqele High School; and

St Stephens High School.

The LNOC congratulates all selected participants on this remarkable achievement and wishes them every success as they prepare to represent Lesotho on home soil. Their selection reflects dedication, hard work, and exceptional talent, and the nation looks forward to their outstanding performance in August.
