The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) is today holding a session for members of its various commissions at Emmanuel Hostel in Maseru.
The purpose of the session is to provide a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the commissions, as well as members’ involvement and Terms of Reference in volunteering across the different LNOC commissions.
The session is officially opened by LNOC President, Mr. Letsatsi NTSIBOLANE. In his opening remarks, Mr. NTSIBOLANE encourages members to engage extensively on matters contained within the Terms of Reference. He further highlights that the commissions serve as a strategic implementation arm of the LNOC, as most activities undertaken by each commission are aligned with the LNOC Long-Term Strategic Plan 2025–2035.
For the 2025–2028 quadrennial, the LNOC has established the following commissions:
* Athletes Commission;
* Development Commission;
* Finance and Marketing Commission;
* Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Commission;
* Legacy Commission;
* Lesotho Olympic Academy;
* Media Commission;
* Sports and Active Society Commission;
* Sports Medicine and Protection of Clean Athletes Commission;
* Sports and Law Commission;
* Sustainability in Sports Commission; and
* Technology, Innovation and Digital Commission.
