The LNOC is today hosting a National Sport Federations Risk Management Forum for Secretaries General and Public Relations (PR) Officers. The two-day forum was officially launched by the LNOC Vice President, Mrs. Mamotsabi LEKHABUNYANE, who delivered the keynote address. In her remarks, she emphasized that effective risk management is essential for building strong, accountable, and resilient sports federations. She encouraged participants to embrace good governance, strategic leadership, and proactive communication to protect the reputation and sustainability of sport in Lesotho.
The LNOC CEO, Mr Morake RALEKAKA highlighted that the purpose of the forum is to strengthen the capacity of National Sports Federations in identifying, assessing and managing risks. He noted that the forum is also designed to promote good governance, organizational resilience, strategic communication, sustainability, and value-based leadership, enabling federations to operate more effectively and responsibly.

The event will conclude tomorrow with dedicated sessions for Public Relations Officers, focusing on strengthening communication strategies and enhancing the promotion and visibility of sport through effective public relations practices.
