MOKHOTHO ELECTED TO COMMONWEALTH SPORT ATHLETES’ ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Congratulations to our own, Moroke MOKHOTHO, who has been elected as the Commonwealth Sport Athletes’ Advisor Committee representative for Africa.
This is, indeed, a high honour for the former boxing superstar to be sitting on such a prestigious platform and representing the continent.
MOKHOTHO is the chairperson of the Lesotho Athlete’s Commission, which also gives him a seat on the LNOC Board.
As an athlete, MOKHOTHO competed in three editions of the Commonwealth Games – Glasgow 2014, Gold Coast 2018 and Birmingham 2022 – but his crowning moment was in qualifying and competing in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Since his retirement in 2022, he has been relentless in his pursuit to develop his beloved sport of boxing and improve the lives of athletes of all sporting codes. His efforts have been documented in a recent article on the International Olympic Committee website: https://olympics.com/…/lesotho-boxing-moroke-mokhotho…
We wish Moroke the best of success in his new appointment and our proud that he is lifting the flag of Lesotho even higher. #ExperienceElevation
