The LNOC today officially launched a 5-day Sport Administration Course (Level 1) at the Olympic House in Maseru, marking a significant step toward strengthening sports governance and leadership in Lesotho.
The course has brought together 35 Sports Administrators representing various National Sports Federations, all committed to enhancing their knowledge and skills in sports management. The programme is facilitated by experienced professionals Mr Maluke POSHOLI and Ms Moipone LEBESA, who bring valuable expertise in sports administration.

This intensive training programme is designed to equip participants with essential Sports Administration and management skills. Key modules to be covered include: Financial Management in Sport; Event Planning and Organisation ; Human Resource Management ; Governance and Leadership in Sport ; Olympic Values, Safeguarding in Sports ; Anti- Doping and Marketing in Sport. Through interactive sessions, practical case studies, and group discussions, participants will gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge that they can immediately apply within their respective federations.
The course was officially opened by the LNOC President, Mr Letsatsai NTSIBOLANE with a presence of the LNOC CEO Mr Morake RALEAKA. Mr Ntsibolane emphasized the importance of professional administration in advancing sport development and encouraged participants to fully engage with the training to maximise its impact.
This initiative reflects LNOC’s ongoing commitment to developing competent sports leaders, strengthening organisational structures, and promoting excellence in sport administration across Lesotho.
