Celebrating World Play True Day 2025 with Purpose and Passion!

The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) proudly joined the global sporting family in celebrating World Play True Day 2025 — a day dedicated to promoting clean sport, integrity, and fair play.
This year’s celebration was nothing short of powerful, as LNOC led an impactful Anti-Doping Education Session with more than 400 enthusiastic students from Christ the King High School in Roma.
The session explored crucial topics including: Understanding Doping Rules; Embracing Anti-Doping Values; Recognizing Violations and Consequences; Demystifying Testing and Control Procedures; and Knowing Athletes’ Rights.
This wasn’t just about education and empowerment where students left with deeper knowledge and stronger conviction to advocate for honesty, respect, and ethics in sport and beyond.
By raising awareness and nurturing a culture of clean sport, LNOC continues to champion a future where athletes can thrive fairly, free from pressure, and full of purpose. Playing true means more than just following the rules — it’s about standing for what’s right, even when no one is watching.
Additionally, 40 books on Olympic Values literature were handed over to the school principal to open an Olympic Library in order to empower students to learn more about Olympism and the Olympic Movement. 📚✨
👏 Huge thank you to the Christ The King High School, the students, and our dedicated facilitators who made this day meaningful.
Let’s keep the spirit alive and echo the message of #PlayTrue every day. Together, we’re building a clean, fair, and inspiring future for sport in Lesotho and the world!
