The Lesotho National Olympic Committee, through its Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Commission, in collaboration with the Lesotho Sports and Recreation Commission Women in Sports Committee, commemorated International Women’s Day today at Lesia High School.

The event was held under the theme “Give to Gain.”

The commemoration was graced by the Honourable Minister of Communications, Science and Technology, Nthati Moorosi, as well as Matlohang Moiloa‑Ramoqopo, a member of the International Olympic Committee. Also present were the Chairpersons of the Women in Sports Committees from LSRC and LNOC, Ms. Moshoeshoe and Dr. Khomari.LNOC Vice Preside Administration Mr Rammotang Makatile and LSRC Vice President Mr Hlomisi.

The programme included demonstrations from various sporting codes such as judo, boxing, and rugby.

Among the presentations delivered during the event were topics on women in leadership and governance
