The LNOC Sports Administration Course Level II was officially launched today by the LNOC CEO, Mr. Morake RALEAKA. The four-day course has attracted 36 sports administrators from various National Sports Federations, reflecting a strong commitment to strengthening sport governance and management in Lesotho. The course is being facilitated by Mr. Moshoeshoe MOLAPO and Ms. Moipone LEBESA who bring valuable expertise and experience in sports administration.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Raleaka emphasized the critical role of sports administration in shaping a well-structured and effective sporting system. He highlighted that competent administrators are essential for the growth, integrity, and sustainability of sport in the country.
The course will run from 30th March to 3rd April 2025 and will cover a wide range of key modules, including youth and international games, athlete management and commercialization, social media, talent identification, safeguarding in sport, governance, strategic planning, financial management, event organization, and leadership skills.
Participants will also engage in group discussions and presentations on important topics such as communication, leadership, decision-making, conflict management, and organizing Olympic missions. This initiative forms part of LNOC’s ongoing efforts to build capacity and enhance professionalism within the sports sector in Lesotho.
