We’re excited to announce that the Lepereng Olympafrica Center, with support from the Foundation International Olympafrica (FINO) and the Lesotho National Olympic Committee, is hosting vital Safeguarding Training for our dedicated volunteers.
This training has drawn 23 passionate volunteers and will focus on key safeguarding topics including:
Children’s Rights in Sports
Creating a Safe Code of Conduct
Communicating with Children in Distress
Enhancing Wellbeing for Youth Participants
The training is being led by Mr. Kingsley UDO, FINO Consultant, who brings expertise in creating safe, supportive environments for young athletes. This initiative is part of our Olympafrica Youth Empowerment through Sports Program—building not only athletic skills but a strong foundation for well-being and empowerment. Together, let’s continue fostering safe and positive spaces for youth development.
