The WBSC Africa Region 5 Softball Extraordinary Congress is taking place today at the Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) boardroom in Maseru.

The Lesotho Baseball and Softball Association (LBSA) is hosting regional representatives from Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The meeting aims to deliberate on key matters, including the Region 5 calendar, club championships, school and university programs, masters structures, as well as development and governance initiatives across the region.

This meeting reflects a strong commitment to collaboration, growth, and the continued development of softball throughout the Region 5 community.
